Led by and for Jews with disabilities and chronic health conditions, Yad HaChazakah-JDEC empowers people with disabilities to live, love, learn, work, worship and lead in Jewish communities by promoting changes in attitudes and community planning and by providing:

Yad HaChazakah-JDEC’s mission is driven by the spirit of Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon’s (RAMBAM’s) highest level of tzedakah; to strengthen each other’s capacities to live with dignity and respect.

Serving Jews from all backgrounds and cultures, Yad HaChazakah-JDEC is governed and operated according to Orthodox precepts.
